Meet the Fowlers

Valentines Day seems like the perfect time to introduce us as a couple.  You will likely hear a bit about Jared here and there in my posts, so it might help to give you some back-story.

We met back in 2003 when I was still in high school and he was my friend's older brother.  Somehow through high school and college we managed to make it work and when I graduated with my BFA in 2009 we got married in Cannon Beach, Oregon on the most beautiful August day (which also happened to be our 6 year anniversary).

Now we live in an 1870's era house in Hudson, Ohio with our 2 big black mutts, Logan and Finnick.  We live pretty quietly.  We spend the summer growing food and flowers in our gravel yard and spend 3 day weekends carrying our packs and sleeping in a tent.  In winter we basically hibernate, hiding inside and drinking a ton of tea.  We've been busy renovating our little house and returning it to it's former glory.  We cook comfort food with simple ingredients.  Life is good.
