Autumn will be upon us soon! I'm not quite ready for summer to end, but I am starting to line up my fall projects. The colder months are my favorite time to quilt. There is nothing like curling up under a project you are hand-quilting with a cup of tea when it's cold outside.
The Fall 2014 Pantone Color Forecast is full of unexpected hues for autumn. Mixing them with rich fall colors like olive, rust and chocolate gives you some amazingly creative palettes. Try Mauve Mist with olive green and steel gray, or perhaps Cognac and Aurora Red with dark chocolate and white. Aluminum is a great modern background alternative to white. There are so many fun ways to play with these colors.
