The Plan / Butterick B5613 Skirt

I have the skirt and bust done on M5094 and I'm hoping to put it all together today.  Hopefully I'll have pictures for you very soon.  I'm hooked though.  I'm already planning a million projects in my head.

I think next on my list will be B5613.  It's a pretty simple pattern, just 2 rectangles gathered at the top.  Pockets will be a new adventure for me, but something I can't wait to tackle.  I love the addition of the wrap belt.  I'm pretty confident after finishing the dress, this skirt will be a breeze and should come together fairly quickly.  I've selected Amy Butler's Tapestry Rose in a linen weave cotton.  It moves beautifully and has a light sheen to it.  I can't wait to wear it with my ivory chiffon sleeveless top and some sandals.

I have a quilt top waiting to be quilted.  I just need the backing fabric to come in and I'll hopefully have that to share with you soon.  Off to keep sewing!
