I wont't be back in Ohio (and back to our regularly scheduled blogging) until next Monday, but I wanted to take a few minutes to check in. Though it's cloudy tonight, we have had the most beautiful weather here at the coast all week. I've been getting some much needed R&R and spending time with my mom and brother. We have done a few things (visited the Tillamook County Fair, hiked at Cape Lookout, etc.) but mostly I've just been reading and sitting on the deck in the sun.
I visited the Latimer Quilt & Textile Center here in Tillamook today. It's totally worth a trip if you find yourself out here. In addition to their rotating exhibits and classes, they have an amazing library and archive of historic quilting patterns and fabrics. It was very inspiring (I'm currently adding a yo-yo quilt and Dresden circle quilt to my goal list).
